Terms of sale

1. Seller
These terms of sale apply to sales made on velunora.fr between Lucas Carbonnier, sole trader (EI – micro-entreprise) trading as Velunora, 5 rue des Écoles, 57380 Pontpierre, France, SIREN 109 548 305, contact@velunora.fr ("Velunora"), and any individual acting for non-professional purposes ("the customer"). The applicable version is the one online at the time of the order.
2. Products
The essential characteristics of each product are shown on its product page. The galaxy projector runs on USB power and projects the still images contained in its films; it does not play videos. Results depend on how dark the room is, the distance and the surface. Lifestyle photos are for illustration purposes.
3. Prices
Prices are set in euros. VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code. For customers outside the eurozone, a price converted into the local currency may be displayed for information; the amount charged is the one shown at checkout. Shipping costs are shown before the order is confirmed: €3.99 for France, Spain, Germany, the United States and Canada, free on orders over €70. For deliveries outside the European Union, import duties and taxes may be charged to the recipient by the authorities of the destination country; they are not included in the price.
4. Ordering
The customer selects products, checks the cart, contact details and total amount, corrects any errors, accepts these terms and confirms the order with an obligation to pay. A confirmation email summarizing the order is sent. If a product becomes unavailable after the order, the customer is informed and refunded without delay.
5. Payment
Payment is due when ordering, using the methods offered at checkout. Transactions are secured by our payment providers; Velunora does not have access to full card details.
6. Delivery
Products are shipped directly from our partner supplier's warehouse. Estimated delivery times from the order date: 15 to 22 business days for France, Spain and Germany; 18 to 25 business days for the United States and Canada. If delivery does not take place within the stated time, the customer may, after asking us to deliver within a reasonable additional period, cancel the contract and be refunded. Velunora remains responsible for the proper performance of the order. Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer when they take physical possession of the product. Details: shipping policy.
7. Right of withdrawal
The customer has 14 days from receipt of the product to withdraw from the purchase, without giving any reason. The direct cost of returning the product is borne by the customer. The procedure, model form and refund process are described in our returns policy.
8. Legal guarantees
Velunora, 5 rue des Écoles, 57380 Pontpierre, France, is liable for lack of conformity and hidden defects. To make a claim, contact contact@velunora.fr.
Legal guarantee of conformity and guarantee against hidden defects (French law)
The consumer has two years from delivery of the product to claim under the legal guarantee of conformity if a defect appears. During this period, the consumer only has to prove the existence of the defect, not when it appeared.
The legal guarantee of conformity entitles the consumer to repair or replacement of the product within thirty days of the request, free of charge and without major inconvenience.
If the product is repaired under the legal guarantee, the guarantee is extended by six months. If the consumer requests a repair but the seller imposes a replacement, the guarantee is renewed for two years from the date of replacement.
The consumer may obtain a price reduction while keeping the product, or end the contract and obtain a full refund against return of the product, if: 1° the seller refuses to repair or replace the product; 2° the repair or replacement takes place after thirty days; 3° the repair or replacement causes major inconvenience to the consumer; 4° the lack of conformity persists despite the seller's unsuccessful attempt to remedy it.
The consumer is also entitled to an immediate price reduction or termination of the contract when the lack of conformity is so serious that it justifies it, without first requesting repair or replacement. The consumer is not entitled to terminate the sale if the lack of conformity is minor.
Any period during which the product is immobilized for repair or replacement suspends the remaining guarantee period until the product is returned.
These rights result from articles L. 217-1 to L. 217-32 of the French Consumer Code. A seller who in bad faith obstructs the legal guarantee of conformity is liable to a civil fine of up to €300,000, which may be increased to 10% of average annual turnover (article L. 242-18-1 of the French Consumer Code).
The consumer also benefits from the legal guarantee against hidden defects under articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code, for two years from discovery of the defect. This guarantee entitles the consumer to a price reduction if the product is kept, or a full refund against return of the product.
9. Complaints and mediation
Complaints may be sent to contact@velunora.fr or by post to 5 rue des Écoles, 57380 Pontpierre, France. If no solution is found after a written complaint, the customer may use a consumer mediator free of charge. Competent mediator: registration in progress; details will be added here once appointed.
10. Personal data
Data collected when ordering is processed in accordance with our privacy policy.
11. Applicable law
These terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to more protective mandatory provisions of the law of the consumer's country of habitual residence. In the event of a dispute, the consumer may bring proceedings before the courts of their place of residence or of the place of delivery.
